Textile EPR 2040 – Imagining future directions
The Horizon Europe TRUSTex project aims to revolutionise the EU textile industry by developing and implementing Extended Producer Responsibility schemes that promote circular business models through eco-design principles, improved waste management systems and digital traceability solutions.
It is organising an in-person workshop to discuss expectations around textile EPR in Europe. The workshop will present future scenarios and enable stakeholders from across the textile value chain to exchange perspectives.
Over 1.5 days, participants will:
- identify key drivers and uncertainties shaping the future of textiles and EPR
- develop and discuss plausible future scenarios
- exchange perspectives with peers from across the textile value chain
- contribute practical insights to discussions on the future design of EPR system
This workshop is particularly relevant for those who wish to:
- bring operational and implementation experience into the conversation
- anticipate future challenges and blind spots
- learn from peers facing similar questions
- better understand what future EPR systems could mean for your organisation
This workshop will be in English and in person. It will take place in Paris on 24 and 25 June. Participation costs can be covered. Express an interest in taking part.
