That’s why New ERA, Zero Waste Europe and Planet Reuse created the European Reuse Barometer, a report that brings together key facts and figures from all companies working with reusable packaging. In 2024, the first barometer assembled insights from 90 reuse initiatives across Europe, showing the growing strength of reusable packaging. The 2025 survey is now open – and every company in the industry is invited to take part.

The barometer is the first data-driven tool to assess the state of reusable packaging in Europe. It provides visibility, actionable insights and best practices to help companies, policymakers and investors scale up reuse solutions. All reuse businesses are invited to take the survey.
