With the help of a network of 21 Food Banks across the country, FBAO (Fondazione Banco Alimentare Onlus) recovers surplus food (fresh fruit and vegetables, fish and meat, canned and packed food, dairy products, bakery, drinks and prepared meals) from all the stages of the food supply chain (farmers, wholesale markets, manufacturers, distributors, retailers, food service) and redistribute it to charitable organizations that assist people in need.
