Circular Economy Joint Programming in Europe

CICERONE is pleased to announce the final conference of the project, to take place online on 30 March 2021 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. CET. This will be an excellent opportunity to hear directly what partners have to say about the results of the project and experience first-hand the launch of the EU Circular Cooperation Hub and its online portal.

Over the last 2 and a half years, CICERONE has worked closely with over 100 stakeholders, primarily programme owners, to build more alignment for circular economy R&I programming and funding in Europe. This has been achieved by:

  • benchmarking and assessing existing circular economy programmes at EU and international levels
  • publishing the Strategic Research & Innovation Agenda on Circular Economy (SRIA)
  • promoting multiple stakeholder engagement and collective intelligence activities such as workshops and online forums to capture and build on the experience and needs of stakeholders at national, regional and local levels, and finally
  • developing the new EU Circular Cooperation Hub (EU CCH), a platform for programme owners to collaborate and build joint programmes with the objective of increasing the impact of the circular economy transition.

This event will bring together programme owners at national, regional and local levels, industry, SMEs, policy makers and civil society to present the proposed way forward to increase cooperation on circular economy programme development.
