Circular Hotspots of the World: Driving the Global Movement

Find out about strategies to strengthen the global circular movement through success stories and innovative approaches from circular economy hubs around the world. What is the key to harnessing the power of the growing network of international circular hotspots?

This Accelerator Session on Circular Hotspots of the World on 1 June (11:00 - 12:00 CEST) at the World Circular Economy Forum 2023 (WCEF2023) will explore the growing global impact of bottom-up movements and how circular networks around the world have become drivers of the circular economy.

Participants will hear about success stories from six continents, good practices from global frontrunners and innovative strategies for growth and for building collaboration along global value chains. Circular economy hotspots worldwide will be connected and empowered, exploring how both individual hubs and the global network can be strengthened, and how collaboration and knowledge sharing can be fostered to drive the circular movement.

This session will be of interest to global institutions, top-level decision makers in the business world and NGOs, policy makers, transition brokers and people working with networks and governance.

WCEF2023, which will take place on 30 May-2 June in Helsinki, Finland, will bring together forward-looking thinkers and doers and present the game-changers in the circular economy. It is co-organised by Nordic Innovation and the Finnish Innovation Fund Sitra, with international partners.

Free of charge, the event is open to all online. However please note that registration is specifically for physical attendance, with a no-show policy. More info on the event webpage.
