The Global Circular Economy Forum and Awards Ceremony will bring together circular economy leaders, pioneers, practitioners, explorers and researchers across industries and supply chains to celebrate circularity. It will focus on implementation, action and impact and participants will share opportunities, good practices, real-life cases and lessons learned from implementing the circular economy.

There will be keynote speeches, panel discussions, workshops and networking opportunities. 

Dr Janez Potonick, Co-Chair of the International Resource Panel, UNEP and former European Commissioner for Environment, will give a keynote speech on resource management and circular economy and Chrysostomos Adamides will talk about how hotels in Cyprus are shifting towards circularity.

There will also be discussions on maximizing return on investment in the circular economy, how circularity can reduce plastic pollution, how AI can enable the circular economy, the need to embed circular economy principles at the design stage and how organisations can adopt circular economy practices, principles and ISO 59000 Standards.

The Award Ceremony will honour the achievements of the Award nominees. Selected applicants will share their strategies for institutionalising circularity in their operations and present their proven circular projects, products and practices.

There are three categories:

• organisations that have integrated circular economy principles into their business strategy.
• organisations that developed and implemented initiatives internally in line with circular economy principles.
• organisations whose product and/or service offering helps their customers become more circular.
