Bringing together researchers, industry professionals, policymakers and experts from around the world, ICCEMPA – 27 will explore the latest developments in circular economy measurement, assessment methodologies and performance evaluation. 

Through presentations, expert panels and technical sessions, participants will have the opportunity to shine a spotlight on their work, exchange knowledge, share innovative practices and build valuable international collaborations to advance circular economy implementation and impact assessment.

Networking will be a major focus, supporting participants' professional development and future research and business opportunities.

The conference will take place in Frankfurt and via livestreaming on 10–11 February 2027. It will be in English.

The programme is still provisional, but the call for research papers is open. Experienced researchers and early-career academicians can present their work and gain recognition. The list of suggested topics includes metrics for circular economy performance, circular economy indicators and benchmarks, and data-driven approaches to circular metrics – the full list is available here.
