International Symposium on Priorities of Chemistry for a Sustainable Development (PRIOCHEM XXII)
This annual event showcases research capable of converting scientific knowledge into differentiated solutions for high-priority markets.
Early-stage and experienced researchers with prestigious work will present their most recent results in the fields of chemistry and chemical engineering, with applications in capitalisation of bioresources, nanosciences and nanomaterials, protection of the environment and cultural heritage, sustainable resource management, recovery, recycling and capitalisation of by-products from various agro-industrial streams.
There will be plenary sessions, lectures, poster presentations, round tables and workshops (satellite events designed to foster collaboration between researchers, companies and innovation networks) and technical exhibitions.
The Tech Talks – Meet the Mentors! session will explore the role of industrial property in the valorisation of research results and how patents, trademarks and other protection instruments contribute to strengthening organizational competitiveness and fostering a knowledge-based economy.
This international symposium is organised under the auspices of the Romanian Ministry of Education and Research (National Authority for Research). It focuses on the institute's research areas, corroborated by the new guidelines on RDI activity at national and European level included in the Horizon Europe programme.
It will be in hybrid form and in English, taking place on 21 to 23 October. You can register via the Registration form tab on the event website.
