Meeting Europe's Industrial Sustainable Carbon Challenge: a webinar by cleantech company Clariter

Meeting Europe's Industrial Sustainable Carbon Challenge is an EU Green Week partner event taking place on 31 May at 13:30 - 14:30 CEST. Carbon is the atom of life, of our societies and economies; however, at the same time emissions from fossil fuel combustion have dramatically increased the concentration of CO2 in the atmosphere resulting in global climate warming.

To meet this critical challenge, the European Commission recently adopted its Communication on the Sustainable Carbon Cycles, setting out the EU’s strategy to reduce the pressure on carbon resources and decrease CO2 emissions. A key objective is to have "at least 20% of the carbon used in the chemical and plastic products coming from sustainable non-fossil sources by 2030". How will the EU achieve this goal?

This webinar convenes a discussion on this critical question and showcases Clariter’s clean technology which today already can contribute to defossilising the EU economy through innovation and circularity. The discussion will include a Q&A where the audience can interact and ask questions.

Clariter is the international cleantech company founded in Poland which, through its unique and highly innovative technology, replaces virgin fossil carbon with sustainable carbon by recycling a broad range of plastic waste, including hard-to-recycle plastics (that would not be recycled mechanically), to produce high quality, high purity products such as waxes, oils, and solvents used for more than 1000 applications across industry.
