Circular Electronics Day aims to encourage organizations and consumers to take a more responsible approach to the electronic goods they use.

This year’s theme is lifting best practices. 50 million tonnes of e-waste are generated every year, making it the world’s fastest growing waste stream. Much of it is incinerated or placed in landfills, causing pollution, human health hazards and loss of valuable finite resources. In a circular economy, the goal is to reduce virgin resource extraction, extend lifespan of products and minimise waste and pollution.

Participants in the webinar on 21 January 2021 (3.00 - 4.30 p.m. CET) will get to learn from five real-life cases about reducing environmental impact thanks to a circular management of electronics.

The webinar is set up in two blocks. First, the five cases are presented. Then participants go into smaller chat rooms with one of the presenters, which is a chance to ask questions and discuss the details of the case.

  • Clare Hobby, TCO Development
