The Reuse Economy Expo took place in May and brought together stakeholders from various sectors keen to make reuse a driver of economic performance. It also launched the Paris Call for the Reuse Economy which aims to form a community working to make reuse the rule, rather than the exception. It calls on people who believe in the power of the reuse economy as a driver of resilience, value creation and economic sovereignty - and who want to help remove the barriers to scaling it up.

The call's message is simple: reuse works, and it’s time to make it mainstream.

It sets out 10 proposals to help scale reuse across sectors and borders. From investing in shared infrastructure, to introducing training and incentives, to creating quality labels and digital systems, these proposals form an ambitious and actionable roadmap.
