circulareconomy.earth is a project set up by Chatham House's Environment and Society Programme. It enables users to explore the policy and trade dynamics associated with transitioning from a linear to a circular economy model, as well as providing analyses of the associated opportunities and trade-offs.

This website is part of Chatham House's project Building Transformative Alliances for an Inclusive Global Circular Economy. It is funded by the MAVA Foundation and includes:

  • A circular economy policy map and waste dashboard. This covers Latin America and the Caribbean, Africa and South Asia. It divides the policies into national circular economy policies, national circular economy roadmaps and strategies, national bioeconomy roadmaps and strategies and all other strategies (i.e. national strategies with a circular dimension).
  • The Chatham House Circular Economy Trade Database (CHCETD): this focuses on primary and secondary resources particularly relevant to the circular economy. It covers 900 individual commodities organised principally into primary and secondary material categories. The primary materials include raw and intermediate bioeconomy products.
  • publications from Chatham House and other external experts.
