Description

Stone wool can be recycled again and again into new stone wool. An important element of the circular business model is making recyclable, long-lasting products and offering a recycling service. When a building is renovated or demolished, ROCKWOOL's products can be recycled back into new products. The goal is to increase the number of countries where the company offers the reclaiming of product waste from market, from five today, to 15 by 2022, and 30 by 2030. The company's production design maes it possible to use both stone wool waste and materials that might otherwise be landfilled or downcycled. Low-value by-products are upcycled into stone wool insulation that makes buildings more comfortable and energy efficient.
