WCEF2025: the programme has been released!
The WCEF2025 programme is out!
The World Circular Economy Forum is one of the biggest circular events of the year. WCEF2025 will take place in São Paulo, Brazil on 13-16 May under the heading Tropical solutions for sustainable growth!
The programme has now been released, with a rich selection of plenaries and parallel sessions on 13–14 May.
Plenaries:
- The circular economy as the pathway to climate and nature targets,
- Unlocking a sustainable economy with circular innovations,
- Connecting global and regional efforts for circular trade systems, and
- The circular economy as a tool for global development.
Parallel sessions are divided into four tracks: nature, materials, people and business. There will be 12 of them, including:
- Forest-based solutions advance circularity and sustainability in value chains,
- Accelerating the just energy transition with a responsible critical minerals lifecycle,
- Perspectives on circular water from the Global South, and
- Redefining a circular built environment.
The list of accelerator sessions, to take place on 15-16 May, is still being drawn up (the ECESP will be hosting a couple!). In-person attendance is by invitation only, but you can now register to attend online. The event will be livestreamed in English and Portuguese.
