Description

By imitating the "trencadís" technique widely used in Gaudí-styIe mosaics, Barcelona Rugs employs spare scraps from various materials of high quality to create unique rugs for its collection bearing the same name, thus turning leftover materials into sustainable pieces.

Barcelona Rugs' unique ability to repurpose smaller scraps significantly reduces the amount of waste coming from its carpet production, and leaves room for personalisation to the benefit of customers. Different textures and colours can be combined to contrast each other and create different sizes depending on the indoor or outdoor space available.

The collection is made in cooperation with design studio Nutcreatives, who is very attentive to sustainability and social responsibility criteria.
