Chain of custody of electronic waste: Integrity, continuity and traceability of evidence
Cadeia de Custódia de Resíduos Eletroeletrônicos: Integridade, Continuidade e Rastreabilidade da Evidência (Chain of custody of electronic waste: Integrity, continuity and traceability of evidence)
This technical report proposes a conceptual chain-of-custody architecture for corporate electrical and electronic equipment and waste.
It defines a reconstructable link between an object or batch, custodian, event, time, declared result and evidence. Using ISO 22095 terminology, OECD due-diligence guidance and Brazilian MTR/CDF records, it explains why no isolated document proves the full trajectory, authenticity, technical treatment or coverage of the original universe.
Its six-link Evidence Continuity Model covers identity, custody, event, time and location, result, and linkage between records. The report is open access, version 1.0, in Portuguese, and was not peer reviewed.
