C2C Certified®: Designing the lifestyle we all want
Based on the founding concept of circularity, Cradle to Cradle Certified® is a voluntary standard based on third-party assessment. It evaluates the circularity and sustainability performance of materials and products across five categories: material health, product circularity, clean air and climate protection, water and soil stewardship, and social fairness.
Companies can request certification for their products, and if successful they have more than pretty words to convince their customers that they are seriously committed to designing products for a safe, circular and responsible economy. Products now have to be recertified every three years to demonstrate continual improvement.
This webinar will present the Cradle to Cradle Certified® programme and the ideas behind it:
- Elwyn Grainger-Jones and Ren DeCherney from the Cradle to Cradle Products Innovation Institute (C2CPII), the body behind the standard, will explain how Cradle to Cradle Certified® enables design that eliminates waste and builds a regenerative future.
- Businesses which have certified products with this standard will talk about how they are building a new type of lifestyle and economy, from product innovation to communication.
This event will take place in English at 16:00 – 17:00 CET on 18 November. It is intended for businesses keen to learn about Cradle to Cradle Certified®. Registration.
