The global textile value chain does not operate in closed material loops yet. Cradle to Cradle NGO's ambition is to contribute to changing this situation. To this end it will discuss Cradle to Cradle cycles and material health in the textile industry at its digital C2C Summit: Textiles & Supply Chain on 28 January 2021 (9:30-16:15 CET).

Through keynote speeches, panel discussions and interactive breakout sessions, C2C wants to highlight different international perspectives from producers, manufacturers and retailers, and present best practice examples.

In addition to the welcoming address by Parliamentary State Secretary of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development Maria Flachsbarth (Germany), the event will include keynotes and discussion contributions by the UN Alliance for Sustainable Fashion, environmental activist and author Dr. Vandana Shiva, and Renewcell, manufacturer of cellulose from recycled cotton and partner of H&M.
