Characterisation techniques are essential in the plastics sector, as they ensure quality, reliability and safety, promote sustainability and minimise manufacturing risks. AIMPLAS will therefore host the second international seminar on plastics characterisation (CHARPLAST), bringing together international experts to address the main challenges and advances in this field.

The seminar will cover the main trends and innovations in advanced characterisation techniques, ranging from the evaluation of recycled content and recyclability to certification of reuse, biodegradability and compostability, microplastics analysis and quality control of food packaging and automotive components.

The event will feature leading experts from both industry and academia, who will share their knowledge and expertise. This seminar serves as a key meeting point for professionals from various sectors, including the plastics industry, academia, regulatory bodies and reference laboratories, providing them with the tools needed to make informed decisions, develop innovative products and strengthen their businesses.

CHARPLAST 2025 will be a great opporunity for sharing knowledge, best practices and technological strategies that help companies innovate, meet evolving regulatory demands and strengthen their competitiveness.

This event will take place in English on 29 and 30 October (there will be interpreting for speakers who do not use English). It will be in person at the Lluis Vives Business School in Paterna (Valencia). Agenda and registration.
