Innovations in plastic(s) for a circular economy - Breakfast at Sustainability's

The European Green Deal sets out ambitious goals for plastic packaging products in EU and wants all products on the market to be reusable or recyclable by 2030.

Ambitions of such magnitude require innovation, but luckily we are not starting from scratch. European projects funded under the Horizon 2020 framework, such as CIRC-PACK, have worked during the past three years to develop the innovations needed to make plastic packaging waste more circular.

Sharing all the key insights, the project will host its final event as a Breakfast @ Sustainability’s in Brussels and will engage with policy makers, city representatives and technical experts on how best to make plastic bio-based and recyclable plastics the norm in the plastics industry.

The event will be the perfect occasion to learn more about the European strategy for plastics in a circular economy, hear from cities tackling plastic waste and discussing with companies what the challenges and the possible solutions are. The event its free of charge and you can register to attend here.
