Zero Waste Action Weeks // Zero-Waste-Aktionswochen
The Zero Waste Action Weeks are an opportunity for Berlin's circular community to get together and make a statement about zero waste!
This event will focus entirely on waste prevention and resource conservation, covering upcycling, repairing, food rescue, circular economy, reuse, sustainable consumption and zero waste fashion. Many initiatives, organisations, companies and institutions will offer events for young and old, as well as for professionals. Berliners and experts can experience hands-on approaches to sustainable consumption, the circular economy and resource conservation, as well as exchange ideas on these topics. The programme is filled with exciting workshops, lectures and specialist events. There will be plenty of practical workshops too, such as a sewing café, repair cafés and a clothes swap. You can see the full list and choose the events in line with your interests!
The strong network brought together by the Zero-Waste Agency will be shining a spotlight on what people can do to promote zero waste and ideas for how to make Berlin the zero-waste capital.
The Zero Waste Action Weeks are organised by the Zero-Waste Agency, an initiative of the Senate Department for Mobility, Traffic, Climate Protection and Environment of Berlin as well as the Berlin Waste Management Company “Berliner Stadtreinigung” (BSR). They will take place in person from 3 to 30 November. Most sessions will be in German, with some in other languages.
