The SCREEN Project has come to its conclusion

The Synergic CirculaR Economy across European regioNs (SCREEN) final conference was held in Rome on 18 and 19 October 2018, as part of the two-day CompraVerde (BuyGreen) forum, an important event for public and private policies, projects and initiatives on green and sustainable procurement.

The conference was organised in two sessions: an institutional session and a round table on "Cooperation among European Regions for an actual transition towards a circular economy", which was moderated by Bernd Dittmann, representing the EESC on the ECESP.

SCREEN is a Horizon 2020 project (with the participation of 17 regions of 12 European countries) coordinated by the Lazio Region with the technical-scientific support of the University of Tuscia. These regions have been working together for two years to define a common and replicable methodology for a transition to the circular economy.

The final conference provided an opportunity to present the SCREEN results and invite other European regions to use them, in order to define common value chains and start interregional cooperation in the area of circular economy.
