Description

The Lavandula project focuses on using agro-food by-products to produce active ingredients used in cosmetics. The project is divided into several stages:

  2. Studying the relevant literature to learn about the raw materials identified
  3. Setting up the extraction process and identifying its chemical features
  4. Studying what is involved in the extraction process (based on laboratory tests)
  5. Creating formulas for cosmetics
  6. Developing the production process
  7. Carrying out analyses and preparing the documentation required to place the cosmetics on the market
  8. Studying and designing the packaging
  9. Informing the European community via the cosmetic products notification portal (CPNP) and placing the cosmetics on the market.
