Description

The ReNueva project of Aguas Danone has been launched to develop its commitment to recycling and reusing plastics, with funding from the Danone Ecosystem Fund; a fund created by Danone at a global level. It aims at increasing recycling in the away-from-home market, while simultaneously training and creating jobs for disabled or socially excluded people.

This project is carried out thanks to the collaboration between Aguas Danone, Trinijove Foundation and Ecoembes. Within the framework of the ReNueva project, the "Circular Economy Recycling School" has been created, where the training and labor insertion program in companies of the recycling and waste management sector is developed. The first edition of this program has counted with the collaboration of the municipality of Montcada i Reixac. The Circular Economy Recycling School aims to train people who can work in the ReNueva Project's waste selection plant or in other jobs outside the project related to waste management, always favoring the social inclusion of people from collectives at risk of social exclusion.
