Mexico Circular Hotspot 2025

Circular Economy Hotspot is a global initiative which brings together planners and implementers of circular economy measures. In 2024, the European Hotspot was held in Wales, while global Hotspots took place on three other continents: North America (Canada), South America (Brazil) and Africa (South Africa). This year, the European Hotspot will be in Slovenia, with global Hotspots in Ethiopia, Mexico and Taiwan.

On 5-6 November, Mexico Circular Hotspot will take place in Guadalajara (Jalisco, Mexico). The conference will focus on bringing together stakeholders from business, governments and knowledge institutions to advance the circular economy in Mexico and the Americas. It will be an opportunity for participants to learn, network and share best practices.

The event has five focus industries: textiles, construction, food & consumption, finance and circular design. There will be a mix of keynotes, panel sessions, practical workshops and guided networking sessions.

This event is a collaboration with Holland Circular Hotspot, which has organised Circular Hotspots around the world since 2016. Many national and international organisations will be present at the event, such as WWF, the Embassy of the Kingdom of The Netherlands, HP, What Design Can Do, Coppel, UNIDO and the Business Alliance for Climate in Jalisco.
