re-VISION: Circular Cities Conference 2026 - Shaping urban transformation for resource resilience

What do circular cities need to really make an impact? What ideas can get us out of the endless discussion loop and into action? And how do big visions turn into real commitment?

That is exactly what the first international re-VISION: Circular Cities Conference 2026 in Berlin is all about. It's organised by Berlin's Zero Waste Agency, which aims to raise awareness about zero waste and the circular economy throughout Berlin.

For one day, people from politics, administration, municipalities, business, science and civil society will come together to work on the circular city of tomorrow.

You can expect fresh ideas, innovative participation formats, strong practical examples, exciting workshops, and plenty of space for discussion, new contacts and inspiring conversations.

The programme includes:

  • Inspiration from Prof. Maja Göpel
  • Proof-of-Concept: Best practices from various municipalities and cities
  • Knowledge transfer and joint development of solutions
  • Plenty of space to talk and network

Participation in the conference is free. It will take place at 09:00-18:00 CET on 26 November. It will be in person and in German and English. Presentations can be given in either language; a simultaneous translation app will be available, which can be used on your own smartphone. See the programme and register.
