This public toolkit provides a practical framework for organising circular supply chain evidence into buyer-readable documentation for cross-border supplier review.

It focuses on operational evidence, chain-of-custody records, material-flow documentation, destination evidence, limitation notes and supported circularity claims.

The toolkit is intended for non-EU suppliers, European buyers, procurement teams, compliance stakeholders and circular economy programmes needing clearer documentation on circular operations, secondary materials, reuse, recycling, waste management and supplier review.

It includes:

  • an evidence readiness scorecard;
  • a buyer-readable evidence file index;
  • guidance for separating documented evidence from unsupported circularity claims;
  • practical categories for operational evidence, traceability evidence and material-flow records;
  • limitation notes to avoid overstating compliance, certification or buyer acceptance.

The toolkit also connects evidence organisation with EU circular economy, supplier due diligence, product information, carbon/import data and sustainability reporting reference points.

It does not provide certification, legal advice, customs advice, audit assurance, regulatory approval, buyer approval or a guarantee of compliance. It is a public information resource to improve evidence clarity and reduce documentation gaps in circular value chains.
