SUSTRACK Toolkit: Supporting Europe's transition to a circular bio-based economy
SUSTRACK was a three-year Horizon Europe project which aimed to assist policy makers and industries with the development of sustainable pathways to replace fossil and carbon-intensive systems with sustainable, circular biobased systems at EU and regional scale. There were 6 six target countries: Italy, the Netherlands, Slovakia, Germany, Belgium and Spain.
The SUSTRACK Toolkit is a free online resource for policymakers, businesses, researchers and other stakeholders.
It brings together the project's key outputs in one accessible platform, including policy briefs, factsheets, webinars, capacity-building materials, case studies, monitoring methodologies and practical guidance.
It provides evidence-based knowledge and actionable resources to support informed decision making, foster stakeholder engagement and facilitate the design and implementation of circular economy policies and practices across key sectors such as construction, textiles, chemicals and plastics.
By translating three years of research and stakeholder collaboration into practical tools, the SUSTRACK Toolkit contributes to the objectives of the European Green Deal, the Circular Economy Action Plan and the EU Bioeconomy Strategy, helping stakeholders navigate the transition towards a more resilient, competitive and sustainable European economy.
