OrigoVero™ (a platform by Grigolato.IT) is a Digital Product Passport platform built for the EU's Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR) and adjacent sector rules, including the EU Battery Regulation, the wine e-label and future textile, toy, packaging and construction requirements.

Unlike model-level solutions, OrigoVero gives each individual unit its own passport using a dual-factor QR and NFC data carrier on the product itself. Each passport gives the unit's origin, its journey and custody across the actors that handled it, its environmental and material information, and its compliance data. A brand publishes a passport once; consumers, repairers, recyclers and market-surveillance authorities then read the same record directly from the physical item.

By anchoring each unit's provenance and lifecycle events to an independent, tamper-evident record, OrigoVero turns a compliance obligation into usable circular economy infrastructure: downstream actors can trust what a product is and where it has been, a prerequisite for confident reuse, repair, refurbishment and high-value recycling. The same evidence trail helps prevent counterfeiting and greenwashing, protecting both consumers and honest producers.
