Description

Kierrätyskeskus [Reuse Centre] aims to cut down the destructive habit of consuming natural resources at an unsustainable rate. Officially known as the Helsinki Metropolitan Area Reuse Centre, this company enables and promotes reuse through its 14 secondhand shops, webshop and educational programmes on sustainability.

The shops also provide workshops on how to refurbish and upcycle goods at home with natural and discarded supplies.

  • They share information on environmental issues and tips for a sustainable lifestyle.
  • They provide training sessions and lectures for all businesses and communities interested in the circular economy and environmental issues.
  • They offer unemployed jobseekers temporary jobs and support in finding further employment.
