The Circular City Centre – C3 is a competence and resource centre led by the European Investment Bank and co-funded by the European Commission as part of the Circular Cities and Regions Initiative. They are now calling for applications for advisory programmes to support cities at various stages of their circular transition. 

The InvestCEC project is pioneering a replicable model driving the implementation of circular economy projects across European cities and regions.

Entrepreneurs and SMEs from across Europe are now invited to submit proposals for business cases that promote circular economy solutions, either in the city of Klagenfurt or in other European cities.

The FOREST project (Advanced lightweight materials FOr eneRgy Efficient StrucTures) aims to provide new and innovative green composites for sustainable and safe transport applications.

They are setting up an Advisory Policy Framework Working Group and looking for experts. Interested?

EU Green Week goes circular!

Pencil down 3-5 June for EU Green Week 2025 - Circular solutions for a competitive EU in Brussels. 

On 3-4 June, the conference will feature high-level debates on policy aspects of circular economy. On 5 June, in-depth discussions among stakeholders will focus on unleashing the circular economy’s potential for a competitive and resource-efficient Europe.

The Circular City Centre (C3) is a competence and resource centre led by the European Investment Bank and co-funded by the European Commission as part of the Circular Cities and Regions Initiative. To support EU cities in their transition to a circular economy, C3 offers two advisory programmes, the Circular City Advisory programme and the Circular Project Advisory programme.

The Sustain-a-bite project is set to redefine plant-based eating with nutritious, minimally processed foods that drive health and sustainability, one bite at a time. It will develop minimally processed food alternatives using whole grains and upcycled side-streams from the food industry.

SUM 2025, the 8th Multidisciplinary Symposium on Circular Economy and Urban Mining, will take place on 21 to 23 May 2025 on the island of Procida.

The event aims to promote continuous interaction (discussion, collaboration, exchange of experiences, etc.) across disciplines, involving any science-based stakeholders or entities.

The Call for Papers is now open! Authors interested in presenting their work at SUM 2025 are invited to submit their papers on the 25 symposium topics, which range from energy and circular economy to contaminants from circular economy in the environment.
