Face aux enjeux environnementaux, économiques et sociaux auxquels est confrontée notre société actuelle, le Brabant wallon est déterminé à concilier de façon équilibrée les réflexions, les orientations et les décisions d’aujourd’hui pour préserver les générations de demain. Aux fins d’encourager des initiatives exemplaires au regard de ces thématiques, et par la même occasion de sensibiliser et d’inciter les citoyens à adopter de bonnes pratiques, le Brabant wallon organise les Trophées Incidences, à destination des entreprises, des agriculteurs, des associations, des particuliers et des services publics.

IRCEM and the Romanian Ministry of Environment, in collaboration with the Department for Sustainable Development, as well as other 12 ministries and other partners, will participate in 8 different working groups, one in each region of Romania, in order to develop Romania's Strategy for the Transition to a Circular Economy (ROCES) 2020-2030.

The World Circular Economy Forum is a ground-breaking event that presents the best innovations for circular economy and gathers the most recognised experts and decision-makers in the field. Be at the epicentre of the circular economy in Helsinki, Finland, on 3 - 5 June 2019.

Smart Circular Economy is an international workshop focusing on the role of ICT as an enabler for the Circular Economy. This workshop will bring together scientists and researchers as well as relevant stakeholders from industry and local communities to share and exchange their experiences, discuss challenges, and report state-of-the-art and in-progress research at the intersection of ICT and the Circular Economy. Accepted and presented papers will appear at IEEE Xplore and will be listed by all major indexes.

The conference will introduce the recent CECIMO report on the machine tool sector and its contribution to the circular economy.

On 23 May 2019 EUsalt will organise an interactive open conference on "Circularity with a pinch of salt" as part of its three-day general assembly.

The 4th Circular Change Conference will address the circular economy situation on the ground and explore the everyday challenges of circular companies.

On 16 May, ICLEI Europe and the PlastiCircle project will join forces to host the special conference ‘Circular Cities – Innovating to tackle plastic waste’. More than 100 stakeholders from across Europe will gather at Scotland House in Brussels (Belgium) to assess European Union policies on the circular economy for plastics, the role of cities in tackling plastic waste, and the industry innovations driving circularity in Europe’s urban areas.
