CircularPSP brings together seven procurers from seven countries to jointly accelerate the digital transition towards a circular economy. Its focus is pre-commercial procurement (PCP).
It has invested €5.64 million in R&D and provides training and holds conferences. The procurers represent a number of European countries, including capitals with a strong global outreach (Berlin, Helsinki, London and Istanbul).
Other cities, regions, government organisations, public procurers and projects will have the chance to liaise with consortium representatives and are urged to become part of the Follower Network. They will be informed about the timeline and next steps in solution development, as well as opportunities for cooperation.
The Circular Economy Lab was set up in 2018 by Cariplo Factoryand Intesa Sanpaolo Innovation Center. It is a hub of circular economy competences that aims to help spread the principles and methods of the circular economy and support companies as they go circular.
The Lab is involved in various projects, such as the Iren Startup Award Call4Circular | Circular products and materials. It promotes the circular economy by holding workshops on key topics and by creating networking opportunities for innovative ecosystem players, such as startups, innovative SMEs, universities, research centres and technology transfer centres.
The European Cluster Collaboration Platform (ECCP), an online hub for cluster stakeholders, aims to strengthen the competitiveness and sustainability of Europe’s industrial ecosystems, particularly SMEs, improving their performance in terms of productivity, innovation, internationalisation and resource efficiency through a variety of modern tools:
Events to foster capacity building and peer discussions
Matchmaking events supporting cooperation between clusters in Europe
A knowledge database mapping regional, national, international and sectoral cluster networks, toolkits and publications
Partner search and exchange facilities to share offer/demand directly
