Circe.med is a network of Mediterranean organisations involved in the transition towards ecologically and sustainable ecosystems. Established at the start of 2024, it wants to help deliver a carbon-free, circular economy which will improve people's quality of life.
The initiative aims to deepen, promote and implement a circular economy based on efficient and reduced use of natural resources.

The network's member organisations strive to deliver an effective circular economy in the Mediterranean which will benefit their individual ecosystems and the region as a whole.
The network is supported by an online platform, Circemed.org, which promotes cooperation and acts as a resource centre.
With the 9 Circular Islands (9 Ilhas Circulares) website, the Portuguese public authorities aim to promote a more sustainable lifestyle on the Azores islands.
It is a collaborative online space for exchanging or selling surplus materials, secondhand items and circular services.
This online marketplace has 525 registered users. It fosters a culture of sharing among community members and facilitates donations, with a focus on supporting those in need. In addition to showing products to buy or sell, the platform offers access to a variety of repair, recycling and upcycling services. It has a section on good practices and a space for promoting companies and entities with a sustainable business model.
The Dutch circular procurement platform Versnellingsnetwerk Circular Inkopen has gone global with the English version of its website.
Aiming for a sustainable future, it shares Dutch good practices on circular procurement. Tailored to global stakeholders, the platform offers a step-by-step guide, role-specific advice and product-specific insights, emphasising supplier involvement.
Developed through multistakeholder collaboration and supported by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management, it is a vital resource for a circular economy.
The Nordic Working Group for Circular Economy (NCE) is a working group under the auspices of the Nordic Council of Ministers. The NCE mandate includes contributing to activities and exchanges of information that will promote the transition to a circular economy in the Nordic Region.
The NCE also wishes to influence the EU and global actors, for example by helping to identify solutions that will reduce consumption of raw materials, waste, emissions and energy by recycling products, including for new purposes.
The NCE also carries out projects on different topics related to the circular economy.
Eclaira is the regional collaborative platform dedicated to the circular economy in the French region Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. It aims to:

In Auvergne-Rhône Alpes, the circular transition of companies and regions is both necessary and a real opportunity to face challenges such as employment and resources, economic development, regional planning and sustainable development.
The ASEAN Circular Economy Stakeholder Platform (ASEAN CE Platform) is a regional facility helping Association of Southeast Asian Nations Member States achieve sustainable consumption and production by accelerating the transition to a circular economy.
The EU-ASEAN Strategic Partnership covers the circular economy, and the Platform is part of the EU-ASEAN Partnership on Circular Economy, endorsed by ASEAN Senior Officials on the Environment in 2018. The ASEAN CE Platform is hosted by the ASEAN Centre for Sustainable Development Studies and Dialogue at the College of Management, Mahidol University in Bangkok, Thailand.
The establishment of the Platform was inspired by the success of the EU Circular Economy Stakeholder Platform in providing access to CE good practices and strategies.
Energy Saxony e.V. and Circular MTC e.V. have received funding from the Free State of Saxony to set up the innovation cluster Circular Saxony which will lay the groundwork for a ready-for-circularity economy in Saxony.
The cluster aims to re-design products and processes in line with circularity and sustainability, while lowering the costs of society's transformation towards climate neutrality. Circular Saxony brings together industry, research and policy representatives in thematic working groups which will work on practical solutions within the region of Saxony.
