The Swedish Life Cycle Center is an initiative by the Swedish Energy Agency, hosted by Chalmers University of Technology, which strengthens collaboration and encourages more organisations to apply a life cyle perspective in Sweden.
It focuses on life cycle thinking about products. This means considering not just what happens during its production or use, but also how the raw materials were made and what happens after the user no longer wants it.
UKCPN has created a community of stakeholders in order to share best practices, focused on unlocking the most critical, short-term barriers to plastics circularity. It works to :
eliminate the volume of plastic waste arising from within the UK;
raise awareness and share best practices to improve the rate of plastic recycling in the UK;
share best practices to reduce levels of confusion amongst the public and highlight user-centred design;
showcase innovation geared to reducing the amount of plastic which ends up in the environment;
UKCPN is supported by UK Research and Innovation and forms part of the Plastics Research Innovation Fund (PRIF), which is engaging Britain’s best scientists and innovators to help move the country towards more circular and sustainable approaches to plastics.
Circular Oslo promotes multi-stakeholder collaboration to accelerate the circular transition in the Oslo Region.
It does so by sharing knowledge and expertise for reduced material consumption, while supporting regional activities with a positive social, economic and environmental impact.
Circular Oslo:
inspires by identifying and highlighting municipalities, organisations, projects and initiatives that implement circular solutions and innovative business models
develops and provides access to tools, workshops and educational resources for public entities, communities, NGOs, businesses, entrepreneurs and students to better understand and implement circular solutions
collaborates with similar initiatives whose values and mission align
The Circular Economy Foundation is an independent, Iberian foundation active in the field of environmental, economic, social and cultural sustainability.
It gathers knowledge about the circular economy and promotes it in Spain and Portugal, Europe, the Mediterranean basin, Latin America and the islands. It conducts research, provides advice on reducing business' carbon footprint and was involved in setting up the Educacircular educational programme. It also organises events related to the circular economy.
MaterialDistrict is a match-making platform in the field of innovative materials, connecting material manufacturers and distributors with creative professionals and providing designers with information about materials.

The African Circular Economy Network (ACEN) aims to build a restorative African economy that generates well-being and prosperity for all its people.
It carries out research relevant to the African context and its needs, raises awareness and promotes training on the concept, benefits, principles and practice of the circular economy, and fosters networking.
The network is active in 43 countries. In 2017 it co-organised the first Circular Economy Conference in Africa with the European Union and the South African Government (World Economic Forum Africa, Durban) and it was present in WCEF2022 and WCEF2023. It engages with the EU to discuss ways to be inspired by the African continent.
Circul'R is a team that has the expertise to help companies and regions shift to a circular economy.
It aims to unlock the circular economy's potential by connecting innovative startups with companies so that they can co-create solutions to accelerate their transition towards the circular economy.

Circulary is a web tool managed by BusinessEurope and its national members that contributes to the EU’s agenda on the circular economy.
It continuously brings new examples of innovative ways in which industry, SMEs and other business add to the circular economy in Europe. It highlights the regulatory and non-regulatory challenges these businesses still face in upscaling their current initiatives or starting new ones. The platform is a bottom-up, business-led hub of knowledge and expertise.
Businesses can flag up their circular initiatives and identify barriers to circularity in EU legislation. BusinessEurope will convey these views to EU policymakers.
