ICESP brings together various projects, shares experience, identifies shortcomings and opportunities in order to shine a spotlight on Italy's work on the circular economy and promote the circular economy in Italy.
It has six working groups, open to everyone: 1) Research and eco-innovation, 2) Legislative and economic instruments, 3) Measuring the circular economy, 4) Sustainable and circular supply chains, 5) Circular cities and regions, 6) Good practices.
It also has cross-cutting groups on: 1) Eco-design and circular business models, 2) Market for recyled goods, and 3) Good practices.
ICESP aims to promote dialogue and awareness raising, so stakeholders are encouraged to contribute good practices, strategies and knowledge. The resulting compilation is available to users.
ICLEI - Local Governments for Sustainability is a global network of more than 2500 local and regional governments committed to sustainable urban development and is active in 125+ countries. ICLEI Europe supports local governments in implementing the European Green Deal, the overarching EU strategy for climate neutrality, to build more resilient and equitable communities, and focuses onhow local governments can lead the transition to a circular economy.
ICLEI Europe supports and advocates for improved access to funding for local and regional governments to plan and implement sustainable development and so works with organisations such as the European Investment Bank to develop new financing schemes.

IEEFC was established in 2014 and aims to promote a community of stakeholders (including public authorities and businesses) committed to the environmental, economic and social transition.
Its focus is the functional economy: encouraging people to buy the use of an item rather than the item itself. This approach limits the amount of resources needed to meet people's needs.
The Institute fosters cooperation between public and private stakeholders. It is active in knowledge sharing and awareness raising, organising workshops and visual aids. It encourages networking and acts as a discussion forum, with a network of clubs in France and two in Brazil.
It also has a library of publications on the functional economy.
The Incubation Forum for Circular Economy in European Defence aims to apply the circularity approach of the EU Green Deal to European defence.
It does this by engaging a cooperative community, including EU defence ministries, industry, institutes, research centres, financial institutions, academia and other bodies at national and international level.

Based on circular economy principles, IF CEED aims to incubate collaborative projects and their respective consortia.
The Green Production Network of Swabia is organised by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) of the Bavarian part of Swabia (Germany) and KUMAS - Kompetenzzentrum Umwelt e. V. It is open to companies that are members of the CCI.
The network organises discussions and the exchange of experience in the field of energy and the environment, including issues related to the circular economy.
In Limbo is a platform (digital website and physical warehouse) facilitating the reuse of materials within thesocial and cultural sectors and schools in Brussels.
It encourages exchange and mutual aid within these sectors, as well as boosting recycling, reducing landfill costs and enabling organisations with limited resources to obtain reusable materials. Following the principles of circularity and sharing, all partners are invited to give and receive materials for free.
In Limbo is open only to registered partners which must be formal or informal non-profit associations or collectives, specifically social, cultural and artistic organisations, schools and temporary projects in Brussels. However, In Limbo accepts donations from all types of organisations.
INCIEN is Slovakia’s circular economy network, a team of experts who have carried out various projects for businesses, public authorities and the general public.
The network has worked with partners at national and international level. They aim to make the circular economy an effective tool in the fight against climate change, the biodiversity crisis and pollution.
It has a number of priorities:
Helping reduce the amount of waste generated
Proposing and carrying out change
Connecting people and raising awareness
Its work with authorities focuses largely on waste management, whereas it helps businesses adopt circular principles. It also conducts educational activities (Green Circular Academy), and prepares studies.
INCIENis an NGO set up in 2015 to promote the circular economy in Czechia.
It has its own research team: a Think Tank which monitors Czech and EU legislation and prepares reports.
INCIEN has established the Czech Circular Hotspot, the biggest Czech community working on the circular economy. With nearly 70 members, the hotspot pools knowledge and experience.
INCIEN also provides consultancy services, helping companies reduce their carbon footprint and adopt circular approaches. It also assists with training, organising sessions to teach employees about the circular economy from the perspective of ESG, energy and waste.
InnovaWood is a wood-oriented network of 70+ organisations in 28 countries in Europe and beyond, most active in research, education, training and knowledge transfer.
It includes research institutes, universities, VET actors and regional cluster organisations throughout the value chain, from forestry and wood processing to construction, furniture and the circular economy.
The network supports project consortia, many of them EU-funded. Circular projects include EcoReFibre(Ecological Solutions for Recovery of Secondary Raw Materials from Postconsumer Fibreboards), which recycles waste wood into fiberboards and novel fibre products, and Basajaun(Building A SustainAble Joint between rurAl and UrbaN areas Through Circular and Innovative Wood Construction Value Chains).
The Israeli Circular Economy IL Platform serves as the Israeli Circular Economy Stakeholder Platform. It acts at national, regional and international levels to integrate new resource strategies and circular business models with Israeli innovation capabilities.
The platform aims to connect up Israeli initiatives, start-ups, companies, municipalities, academics, researchers and policy makers and European circular economy stakeholders. The goal is to collaborate and find common ground, making reference to European policies, to accelerate the circular transition and exchange know-how, knowledge and information.
These goals are already underway, with several cooperation projects with many European experts.
