The Czech Circular Hotspot is operated by the Institute for Circular Economy (INCIEN), a non-governmental organisation that has been promoting circular economy principles since 2014.
CCH aims to facilitate cross-sectoral and international cooperation in the field of the circular economy. It wants to create a space where the public and private sector can cooperate to accelerate the transition towards a circular economy in Czechia.
The hotspot was set up in 2022, and thanks to strong partners and successful models abroad, it has rapidly grown into an effective network. Members include businesses, SMEs, start-ups, NGOs and academic bodies.
As well as networking opportunities, it provides training sessions and information on overviews and trends.
Circe.med is a network of Mediterranean organisations involved in the transition towards ecologically and sustainable ecosystems. Established at the start of 2024, it wants to help deliver a carbon-free, circular economy which will improve people's quality of life.
The initiative aims to deepen, promote and implement a circular economy based on efficient and reduced use of natural resources.

The network's member organisations strive to deliver an effective circular economy in the Mediterranean which will benefit their individual ecosystems and the region as a whole.
The network is supported by an online platform, Circemed.org, which promotes cooperation and acts as a resource centre.
Circle Lab is an online platform for cities, businesses and individuals toexplore, brainstorm and implement circular business models and strategies with a view to tackling global and local challenges.
By digitising knowledge, opening up access and encouraging co-creation, it aims to break down information silos and fuel cross-industry collaboration and innovation.
Circle Lab currently contains over 1 500 examples of the circular economy in practice – all freely accessible – and enables cities and businesses to host online challenges that collectively explore and find solutions to circularity challenges around the world.
Its Knowledge hub has sections on case studies, indicators, key elements of the circular economy, policies and the SDGs.

CIRCLES is a platform dedicated to disseminating circular economy solutions in the Eastern Netherlands.
It encourages entrepreneurs to participate in the green transition, promoting their sense of ownership in the transition process. It offers a space for stakeholders to interact and exchange views on circular economy – digitally or physically - or simply a space to establish partnerships.
Several organisations – public, private and NGOs – interact in a range of ways, including workshops, publications, opportunities to access finance. One of the initiatives, for instance, consists of a space to submit ideas. If viable, cooperation with regional universities can be established, and entrepreneurs can collaborate to reach solutions.
Circul'R is a team that has the expertise to help companies and regions shift to a circular economy.
It aims to unlock the circular economy's potential by connecting innovative startups with companies so that they can co-create solutions to accelerate their transition towards the circular economy.

The Circular Appliances website takes readers through each phase of the home appliance lifecycle, from design to end-of-use. There is a straightforward description of each phase and statistics on this sector.
The Circular Culturewebsite provides a platform for all those who would like to share their practices and recommend innovative solutions for different topics, such as food waste prevention, recycling and resource efficiency. There is a collection of circular projects.
Circular Berlinis an NGO that focuses on making Berlin circular.
Berlin is envisioned as a resilient, citizen-oriented region where resources are sourced locally and their value is maintained as part of a continuous loop. Circular Berlin operates across areas such as community-building and education, as well as developing knowledge about industries with a high potential for circularity: the built environment, food and biomass, textiles and fashion, materials and products.
Circular Berlin hosts events where the community comes together to talk about key issues from sharing knowledge to collaborative planning sessions. Open-source digital tools enabling information to be exchanged more quickly have been built.

Circular Conversations is an independent and decentralised community platform showcasing solutions for systemic change.
