The ECESP Leadership Group Towards a European Network of Circular Economy Hubs organised the #EUCircularTalks event on Bridging Local and European Networks: How Circular Hubs Can Drive Inclusive Regional Growth. 

This event explored the role of EU networks in advancing circular economy goals across Europe, focusing on how local circular hubs can leverage their strengths to foster inclusive regional growth.

CIMPA (A CIrcular Multilayer Plastic Approach for value retention of end-of-life multilayer films) is an EU-funded H2020 project working on developing a recycling value chain for post-industrial and post-consumer multilayer films (from food and agricultural applications). 

The project will shortly be holding its final event where it will showcase its key findings. There will also be information on clustering initiatives on circular plastics and recommendations from policy makers, industry leaders, researchers and NGOs on unlocking the potential of plastic film recycling. The event will conclude with an opportunity for networking and a poster session highlighting new technologies which can enhance plastics recycling. 

Brazilian Circular Hotspot will bring together experts and business and government representatives from around the world to discuss the challenges and opportunities in transitioning to a more circular economy.

As part of the official agenda of the World Circular Economy Forum (WCEF), the Brazilian Circular Hotspot will be a landmark in Brazil, inspiring and preparing society for the circular transition.

Circular Week 2024 is coming up!

It's a five-day event dedicated to the circular economy and sustainable development, with a rich programme of sessions and the main event: European Sustainability Congress 2024. Some sessions are hybrid or online.

The ECESP Leadership Group on Textiles organised the #EUCircularTalks event on the revision of the Waste Framework Directive: Enhancing textiles EPR schemes through inclusive governance. Panellists discussed key evidence concerning how best to align waste management practices with sustainability goals.

This webinar took a closer look at the proposed changes to EPR schemes for textiles and highlighted the role of inclusive governance in meeting the sustainability targets.

This EU Circular Talk tackled Circular approaches to affordable housing: reshaping the future.

It explored how social equity, innovative construction and environmental responsibility come together.
