In the near future the elastomers industry will be facing changes due to the transition to a sustainable and circular economy, which will be addressed during ACI’s 6th World Elastomer Summit.

The VUB-ULB research chair "Transitioning Belgian companies into Circularity" organises its first interactive seminar entitled "What can cities, companies and citizens do?" .

The European Resource Efficiency Knowledge Centre (EREK) offers SMEs operating in the field of waste management, information and examples of good practices regarding logistics, technology and organisation solutions that allow companies to reduce the operating costs by savings in energy, water and materials consumption while improving their efficiency, performance and cost-effectiveness. The workshop will provide a forum for exchange of ideas, learnings and opportunities to problem-solve issues related to improving the overall resource efficiency performance of the packaging waste recycling entities.

The Which sustainable future for plastic?  conference, to be held in Brussels on 21 March, aims to stimulate the debate on the way plastic is produced, used and discarded.

EREK will hold its first webinar on 19th March 2019. The event will be co-organised by ADEME and will focus on the lessons learned from delivering resource efficiency support programmes in Europe. It will focus on the cases of France, Scotland, and Estonia, with speakers from those countries.

MaterialDistrict Rotterdam 2019 is the leading event for R&D and design professionals within six sectors, including textiles and fabrics. Circularity is among the priority themes to be treated.
