Within the framework of the "Clusters meet regions" site visits, a matchmaking event "Boosting talent as a key driver for a future sustainable competitiveness" and workshops will be organised on 14 - 16 December 2022. Their focus is on three key EU industrial ecosystems (Agrifood, Energy and mobility) where clusters play an active role in regional economies driving transition pathways towards sustainability through collaborations between clusters and regional stakeholders.
The World Circular Economy Forum 2022 presents circular economy game-changers. Hosted in Kigali and online on 6-8 December 2022, WCEF2022 is co-organised by the African Circular Economy Alliance, the Republic of Rwanda, the African Circular Economy Network (ACEN) and The Finnish Innovation Fund Sitra, with international partners. The title for this year's event is 'From Africa to the World'.

The Ocean Package UG is a young and sustainable company from Munich with the goal to make e-commerce more environmentally friendly and sustainable. For this purpose, they have designed reusable packaging made of recycled polypropylene, which contains a proportion of collected plastic from the North Sea. Their product can be used 20 times more often than conventional cardboard packaging.
The Czech Circular Hotspot is operated by the Institute for Circular Economy (INCIEN), a non-governmental organisation that has been promoting circular economy principles since 2014.
CCH aims to facilitate cross-sectoral and international cooperation in the field of the circular economy. It wants to create a space where the public and private sector can cooperate to accelerate the transition towards a circular economy in Czechia.
The hotspot was set up in 2022, and thanks to strong partners and successful models abroad, it has rapidly grown into an effective network. Members include businesses, SMEs, start-ups, NGOs and academic bodies.
As well as networking opportunities, it provides training sessions and information on overviews and trends.
remesh is a socio-professional business workshop with an environmental impact. Most of its employees are women from disadvantaged background. The workshop is also providing a circular economy business model as they reuse advertising banners and meshes to make new products that are fashionable but sustainable.
ROCESP members include local and central government institutions, academic, research and innovation institutions, businesses and civil society representatives.
The platform acts as a network of networks, bringing together initiatives, experiences, problems and expectations in the field of the circular economy.
