During the conference, the DigiSocCirc consortium will share the project’s key findings and facilitate panel discussions with representatives from social enterprises, businesses and policymakers.
The SYMBA project (Securing Local Supply Chains via the Development of New Methods to Assess the Circularity and Symbiosis of the Bio-based Industrial Ecosystem) will help deliver bio-based solutions with reduced environmental impacts on soil, water and air quality.

Participants had a chance to learn strategies to mitigate environmental and social impacts associated with ICT procurement and to implement sustainable procurement practices effectively.
The GO-GRASS evaluation tool provides valuable insights and recommendations to help users make informed decisions about a business idea related to the processing of grass. The tool offers insights about critical factors and best practices, based on the four GO-GRASS demonstration sites and possible value chains for grassland valorisation.
Sustainable Estimatics is a carbon tracking tool, intended to help the insurance industry manage new environmental, social and governance (ESG) regulations and become greener and less wasteful.
It empowers insurers to quantify and mitigate the carbon dioxide equivalent emissions associated with their entire car insurance claims process. As regards the circular dimension, it enables insurers to compare the environmental impact of repairing car parts versus replacing them.
The LIFE programme is the EU’s funding instrument for the environment and climate action. Created in 1992, it has co-financed thousands of projects. The LIFE programme 2021-2027 is managed by the European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency and has a budget of EUR 5.4 billion.
