"Chambers for a Circular Economy - Actions to Support SMEs' Transition to a Circular Economy" aims to offer a clear overview of the wide range of initiatives led or co-managed by Eurochambers in the field of the Circular Economy, with the intention not only to inform and share innovative actions, but also to spur and motivate synergies, triggering collaborations and the creation of new business models. The aim of each and every of these projects is to enable businesses to evolve from a linear to a circular mode of production and consumption.

Le concours Design Zéro Déchet invite depuis 2012 les étudiants et jeunes diplômés en design, sciences de l’environnement, ingénierie et arts appliqués à réfléchir sur le sujet de l’écoconception et de la prévention des déchets à travers l’élaboration de biens ou services innovants et durables.
Delft University of Technology (TU Delft) is offering a 100 % online course on Sustainable Packaging in a Circular Economy. Students and professionals with basic knowledge of the circular economy and an interest in or experience of packaging can start studying anytime, at the time and place of their choosing. The course material is accessible 24/7. This is a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) that runs on edX.
The course programme includes:
Business strategies that support sustainable packaging systems
Opportunities for designing with renewable, bio-based materials
Best practices through case studies with industry frontrunners
How circular design principles can be applied to create 'closed loop' packaging systems.
The WCYCLE Maribor project provides for an innovative urban circular economy system, offering a new business and economic model for the city in the field of efficient resource management.
Applications to the European Social Innovation Competition 2020 are now open! Under the theme Reimagine Fashion: Changing behaviours for sustainable fashion, the 2020 competition is looking for projects and ideas that will change the ways we produce, buy, use and recycle fashion, moving towards increased global sustainability and changing consumer behaviour at local, national and European levels.
INCIEN is Slovakia’s circular economy network, a team of experts who have carried out various projects for businesses, public authorities and the general public.
The network has worked with partners at national and international level. They aim to make the circular economy an effective tool in the fight against climate change, the biodiversity crisis and pollution.
It has a number of priorities:
Helping reduce the amount of waste generated
Proposing and carrying out change
Connecting people and raising awareness
Its work with authorities focuses largely on waste management, whereas it helps businesses adopt circular principles. It also conducts educational activities (Green Circular Academy), and prepares studies.
INCIENis an NGO set up in 2015 to promote the circular economy in Czechia.
It has its own research team: a Think Tank which monitors Czech and EU legislation and prepares reports.
INCIEN has established the Czech Circular Hotspot, the biggest Czech community working on the circular economy. With nearly 70 members, the hotspot pools knowledge and experience.
INCIEN also provides consultancy services, helping companies reduce their carbon footprint and adopt circular approaches. It also assists with training, organising sessions to teach employees about the circular economy from the perspective of ESG, energy and waste.
