RE-PLAN CITY LIFE (RElevant Audience Plan Leading to Awareness Network for CIrcular Economy Use of Recycled TYre materials in CITY LIFE) is a LIFE project raising awareness about the use of recycled tyre materials.
They are organising a live workshop with an on-site visit on the use of recycled materials in public works. The workshop will describe the tools put in place by the project to stimulate stronger engagement from public authorities to adopt best practices and green procurement.
SUSTAINair was an H2020-funded project developing circular economy principles for the aviation and aerospace design, manufacturing, operations and end-of-life phases.

Simon Clement joined ICLEI Europe in 2002. As Head of Circular Economy, he is responsible for ICLEI's activities in this field, including managing the European Circular Cities Declaration. For over 20 years he has worked for, and on behalf of, local, regional and national governments in project, policy and strategy development on sustainability issues such as circular economy, procurement, transport and smart cities.
The European Commission is calling on European cities committed to sustainability to apply for the 2026 European Green Capital and Green Leaf Awards. The call for applications is open until 30 April 2024.
