The Circular Plastics Alliance aims to boost the EU market for recycled plastics to 10 million tonnes by 2025. The alliance covers the full plastics value chains and includes over 175 organisations representing industry, academia and public authorities. New stakeholders can join the alliance by signing its declaration.
This report follows on from the publication Circular Czechia from July 2018, exploring the circular economy in the Czech Republic.
The report explains how innovation has developed in this field since 2018, and aims to be an inspiration for firms, organisations and authorities on how to implement circular principles. It sets out a wide selection of good practices from the Czech Republic, and includes the retail, wastewater treatment, transport, construction and furniture sectors.
Rcube is a Federation of French companies active in the reuse and repair sectors and covering a wide range of products and services (such as smartphones, computers, tyres, toys, electronics and bicycles).
The federation aims to develop the reuse sector and put it on a professional footing by promoting good practices, representing the sector vis-à-vis external bodies, fostering partnerships and innovation with various socio-economic stakeholders and generally advocating for the shift to the circular economy. It works with various French ministries, and currently has 400 members. These members provide mutual support through committees, working groups and meetings.
It is active in Paris, and has outreach offices in the regions of Hauts de France and Grand Ouest.

OCF (one-component foam) producers have invested in a recycling company which recycles the metals in the packaging material, the reactive residual polyurethane prepolymer and the propellant.
The University of Malta has developed a patented process that recycles limestone and concrete construction and demolition waste into masonry products. These have superior mechanical properties compared to natural limestone products.
