Following the success of the first FOODRUS roundtable in October 2023, on Tuesday 23 January, ACR+ will be holding the second policy roundtable on Recommendations to Overcome Barriers in Food Waste Prevention and Reduction. It will take place online from 15:00 to 17:00 CET and you are all welcome to participate!

The 8^th World Circular Economy Forum hits Brussels from 15 to 18 April 2024 to turn circular visions into actions. The world’s leading event for circular economy thinkers, doers and leaders will showcase the most impactful circular solutions from Europe and around the world. Online participation is open to everyone.

On 17–26 November 2023, the #FoodWasteWarriors campaign under the FOODRUS project hosts multiple events in various European countries. The diverse activities include stands at canteens in Brussels, a food upcycling meeting at the University of Copenhagen, a replication workshop in Hungary, and awareness campaigns in Spain, Denmark and Bulgaria.

The FOODRUS Day and all its events are part of the European Week of Waste Reduction 2023 (EWWR).

CircularInvest and DEFINITE-CCRI are launching the Circular Investment Readiness Network, a Europe-wide community of practice to help circular economy projects overcome development and funding challenges.

The initiative will officially kick off online on 21 November, from 10:00 to 12:00 CET.

The 4th International Conference on Strategies toward Green Deal Implementation – Water, Raw Materials & Energy (ICGreenDeal2023) will take place on 14-15 December. It will tackle climate change and ways to prevent it, including innovative solutions (technological, environmental, economic and social) that can be implemented under the Green Deal Strategies.

The FOODRUS first policy roundtable on legal and economic barriers to food waste prevention and reduction will take place online on 11 October at 10:00 – 12:00 CET. During this interactive meeting, barriers identified by FOODRUS partners will be presented and explored with meeting participants.

After Pazardzhik, Barcelona and Naples, the Biocircularcities partners are coming to Brussels on 28 September. Come and be inspired to bring the Biocircularcities approach to your garden by learning more about the project and its results. Discuss the future of a circular bioeconomy in Europe and exchange notes with your peers.

Circular Week, an international series of events dedicated to sustainable development and the circular economy, will take place this year from 23 to 29 October.

This launch event on Regional Innovation Valleys for Bioeconomy and Food Systems will take place on 13 October 2023. It is organised jointly by the European Commission's Directorate-General for Research and Innovation and the Agricultural University of Plovdiv, in close cooperation with the BIOEAST Initiative. It will be webstreamed and recorded.
